Director, Head of Digital Campaigns

You are currently leading a digital agency or department with vision, digital strategy and securing business opportunities. Develop best digital practices along with stay current with emerging trends.

You will be instrumental in developing digital campaigning capabilities and ensuring world excellence in daily delivery.  Managing clients, projects and teams across global markets for political parties, and blue chip Fortune 1K companies.

Capabilities

Experienced in all facets of digital campaigning from creative development through to execution. Defined campaign success stories in engaging with stakeholders, audience and clients. Strong leadership skills are a must and a background in political campaigning is preferred.

Responsibilities  

  • Manage a team locally in London

  • Demonstrate, champion, instil company values & culture internally; and externally

  • Oversight of global digital campaigns team, including hiring and performance management

  • Provide strategic oversight of the firm’s most important global projects

  • Securing and managing external vendor relationships 

  • Monitor trends, identify ways to improve and expand service offerings

  • Contribute to team development through training, appraisals, and feedback

  • Maintain a strong network and contribute to a continual pipeline of new client wins and business opportunities

SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

London - Liverpool Street area

A boutique social enterprise digital agency start up of 8 people. Their mission is focused on women holding senior government positions worldwide and accelerate programs that tackle the root causes of gender inequality. They provide communications and political consulting services to a range of clients including: political candidates and parties, government ministries, NGOs, and corporations.

Partner with the Account Manager and Founder. Support of a Junior Associate and Intern with creating content. Emphasis on Paid Promotion campaigns and organic.

Ideally:

  • Previous digital agency experience for B2B and B2C clients.

  • Experience or interest in NGO, philanthropy, political parties or female social rights a HUGE plus

  • Self start and autonomous

  • Lead your own projects with limited direction

  • High attention to detail (pixels, grammar, writing, text, imagery/graphics)

  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, planning and communication skills

Interview process:

  • Provide writing samples or portfolio

  • Initial “test brief” to gauge writing skills

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience managing social media and online organizing, ideally in a political or advocacy campaign context.

  • Excellent analytical and writing skills—the ability to write precise, clear, punchy, and persuasive copy is a core aspect of this role.

  • Significant experience with and knowledge of social media and online organizing tool sets. (e.g. Sprout, Simply Measured, Sprinklr, Union Metrics, etc.)

  • Experience with client and project management, in high-stakes contexts.

  • English, a native-speaker

  • Provide qual & quantitative reports

  • Provide strategy, direction and create content across all digital/social platforms
