Summary

Their large UX Design Team delivers best-in-class web-based tools and customer experiences in a fast-paced, collaborative, startup-like environment for US and International regions across mobile, native apps, screens and desktop.

Role

You will be responsible for delivering web-based tools and customer experiences. You will closely collaborate with product management, engineering/development. project stakeholders across brands and company leadership. As an experienced design leader with exceptional problem-solving skills, your clear communication, good design instincts, can translate business needs into customer-focused solutions. You will lead and mentor a large team of multidisciplinary designers and other design members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & advocate for user-centered design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.

  • Develop processes to ensure smooth collaboration and product impact.

  • Work closely with product teams to develop user-centered design strategies.

  • Drive the design cycle, lead workshops, and ensure all requirements for projects are met.

  • Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.

  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, and prototypes.

  • Confidently communicate designs decisions to stakeholders and synthesis feedback.

  • Mentor and guide other designers by working closely to identify clear career paths, providing critical feedback, and establish growth plans.

 Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, design manager, or similar role.

  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your process for creating great user-centered design solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across various digital product teams and executive stakeholders.

  • Experience leading a team of multidisciplinary designers.

  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
